RIP Comixology

While many may argue the death of Comixology occurred when Amazon bought the company, what is left of the pioneer in digital comic sales and reading has now been unceremoniously wiped out as of December 4th, 2023. Users are now forced to contend with the Amazon Kindle’s finicky features most have deemed unfit for comic enjoyment if they wish to keep their current Comixology collection or find a new place to buy and read digital comics altogether. Limiting use to only the Kindle may also serve as a blow to indie creators relying on the service to reach new potential audiences.
